Project X is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced P6 Scheduler to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in Oracle P6 and can create large construction project schedules as well as generate reports and aid in presentations for clients. The candidate will also be responsible for assisting in analysis and review of said schedules and other construction documentation.

The P6 Scheduler will be required to periodically travel to our client projects for on-site walkthroughs of the building and to provide verification of installation in comparison to the schedule. The candidate must be comfortable taking direction from the Project Manager and clientele to frequently provide regular schedule updates as the project progresses.

  • Serves as a primary point of contact for clients

  • Reviewing and analyzing complex construction schedules and providing opinions, advice and reports as necessary on project progress as well as predictions of the work using Primavera P6

  • Developing potential recovery plans for time and cost

  • Report writing & preparation of charts & graphs to support and present analyses

  • Collaborates with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs

  • Attending meetings and advising client of actual progress and related cost implications

  • Maintains master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revises as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays

  • Participates in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff

  • Performs other related duties, as required


  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or a related field preferred; Or equivalent years of work experience

  • At least 1 year of experience building P6 schedules

  • Understanding of construction management, engineering processes and flow starting from engineering design, process mapping and engineering

  • Strong understanding of project costing and management concepts data structures

  • Proficient with production planning systems

  • 2-3 years’ experience working at Mid-Level Planning, Scheduling and Project Controls

  • Intermediate to Advanced use of Primavera P6 a must

  • Proficient in Project Controls

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must speak fluent English

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
